I helped found Tom Snyder Productions, an educational software pioneer, in the early 1980's, leading to a long and productive career in the education technology industry, including serving as Chief Architect, Learning Sciences for Scholastic and HMH. For many of those years, I have simultaneously been a member of the faculty at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where I teach courses and support projects related to equity-focused design and the translation of evidence into sustainable impact at scale. In addition to teaching, I consult with a range of educational organizations, sharing my deep experience in the Ed Tech industry, learning sciences, product development, professional development, and school policy (serving 9 years on my local school committee). I have a deep commitment to improving learning and opportunity for all learners.
