Colombia
While we are active across Latin America, the Centre has a particularly strong footprint in Colombia. The Centre collaborated with Nogales+ to identify and technically support locally developed EdTech solutions with high potential for school-based scale in early childhood development. ICEI conducted the psychometric validation and impact evaluation of AnGo, an offline-capable literacy application developed by Project Alianza, ensuring the tool met international standards for reliability and measurement quality. ICEI also supported the ESSA certification and research strengthening of CoSchool in Colombia, an organization focused on socio-emotional learning.
In partnership with Arukay, ICEI led a rigorous ESSA Tier III evaluation, producing peer-reviewed publications and establishing a benchmark for evidence generation in the field.
BRILLA 2025
ICEI designed and delivered the BRILLA competition, a USD 150,000 initiative funded by the Rabaf Foundation to accelerate impact-focused EdTech startups in Latin America.
