ICEI Effectiveness Evaluation

The International Centre for EdTech Impact (ICEI) offers a rigorous, internationally benchmarked Effectiveness Evaluation service for EdTech solutions. This service provides early-stage validation of an EdTech product's potential to deliver meaningful learning outcomes, ensuring alignment with global standards of educational quality and impact.

Key Dimensions Evaluated

EdTech solutions are assessed using ICEI’s Level 1 Effectiveness Rubric, developed under the Centre’s 5Es Framework: Efficacy, Effectiveness, Ethics, Equity, and Environment. The evaluation draws from consolidated international standards, including frameworks from EdTech Tulna (India), ISTE Seal (USA), Education Alliance Finland, and UNC’s Quality Review Tools. Solutions are scored across key dimensions such as:

Rigorous and Professional Evaluation

Each product is evaluated by a qualified international teacher from ICEI’s vetted global educator network, carefully matched to the product’s target user demographic and context. This ensures contextual relevance and pedagogical insight. Evaluators are trained to ensure consistent and professional reviews.

International Certification

Products that meet the required threshold (minimum 75% of maximum score) receive the EduEvidence Effectiveness Bronze Certification. Certified solutions are:
