Call for research staff – Global EdTech evaluation and implementation studies
We are seeking qualified EdTech and educational researchers to join several large-scale evaluation and implementation studies commissioned by a leading philanthropic organization and an international funding agency for 2026/2027. The available positions are flexible and part-time, with some roles requiring domestic travel to schools, ministries, and other educational institutions. English serves as the primary working language and ability to work remotely is expected of all candidates. For most research positions, candidates are expected to have completed a Masters or Ph.D. degree and possess a record of peer-reviewed academic publications relevant to the field. Researchers currently affiliated with local universities are especially encouraged to apply. We are currently recruiting for the following roles:

Position Announcement: Part-Time Software Engineer / Technical Lead
We are seeking an experienced Part-Time Software Engineer or Technical Lead to guide the continued development of our digital products and ensure long-term technical sustainability. Working closely with our existing team of internal and contracted developers, the successful candidate will provide strategic and hands-on leadership across key areas of the technology stack, including system architecture, database design, front-end quality, and overall user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and refine system architecture to ensure scalability and sustainability
Guide best practices in database development and management
Ensure high-quality front-end implementation and intuitive customer journeys
Provide technical leadership and coordination across internal and external development teams
Workload: Approximately 1–3 days per week, with flexibility based on availability and project needs.
This role is ideal for a seasoned engineering professional who enjoys strategic technical leadership while remaining closely engaged with active development work.
