Evaluate or validate the impact of an EdTech platform / approach (intervention)

How do we work?

Evaluation and validation studies are at the core of our work and central to our expertise. Our research is typically commissioned by funders, such as philanthropic organisations, investors, and governments, seeking to validate or evaluate specific educational tools. We also conduct research directly commissioned by the companies or organisations to be evaluated.

We are committed to transparent reporting, delivering findings in formats agreed in advance, whether as internal reports or academic publications. Our work aligns with international evidence standards and benchmarking frameworks, including GIIN, EduEvidence, and relevant national standards such as e.g. ESSA in USA. From our large international network of closely vetted learning scientists, we assemble teams that match the organisation’s subject focus, methodological needs, and geographic context. As a research partner, we take responsibility for study design, ethics approval and compliance, conceptualisation, data collection and analysis, reporting and presentation of findings. We work in partnership with UN agencies and ministries of education and always in deep dialogue with local communities.
