ICEI and EdTechTeacher Launch Strategic Partnership
This new partnership will connect educators and EdTech developers globally, creating more effective and pedagogically sound tools for learners across the globe.
STAVANGER, Norway and BOSTON, US – JULY 3rd, 2025 – The International Centre for EdTech Impact (ICEI), a specializing in EdTech research and impact evaluation and EdTechTeacher, a leading provider of professional learning for EdTech in the United States, are proud to announce a strategic partnership aimed at connecting international EdTech companies with educators around the world who are passionate about digital learning.
With increased scrutiny on EdTech’s impact and the exponential growth of the EdTech market, there is a growing need to strengthen EdTech design through practitioner expertise, classroom insights, and rigorous research. To help address this, the International Centre for EdTech Impact launched a global teacher EdTech network in early 2025, aimed at systematically incorporating diverse educator voices into the EdTech development process.
What began as a small group has rapidly expanded into a substantial network of teacher-reviewers, regularly engaged by the Centre to test and provide feedback on EdTech tools. Today, the network includes teachers from Latin America, Africa, Europe and Asia (including China and Japan).
The new partnership between EdTechTeacher and ICEI expands this initiative by bringing in additional teacher experts and offering structured professional support and a dedicated community space to strengthen collaboration and impact.
The two organisations share the mission to maximise the positive impact of EdTech tools for learners across diverse educational settings.
“ICEI is thrilled to collaborate with EdTechTeacher to launch projects centered around elevating the role of teachers and students in product design and refinement. We are excited to cultivate collaborations that further ground technologies in evidence and research, making sure that diverse learner communities across the globe can have access to high-quality support,”
Professor Natalia Kucirkova, co-founder and director of ICEI.
“We believe that educators are the true experts when it comes to understanding what actually works in the classroom, and this partnership with ICEI ensures their voices are central to every stage of EdTech development. By bringing together teachers, researchers, and EdTech companies in meaningful collaboration, we're creating a powerful ecosystem where evidence-based innovation can truly serve the needs of both educators and students.”Tom Driscoll, CEO, EdTechTeacher
